Little Sister

I wrote Little Sister to record the stories of my siblings, who have all now passed away. The story ended up spanning the 20th Century, because our lives are all indelibly linked to other generations. This is especially true in the rural area where we were raised. There, generations of people have grown up and grown old together.

While writing, I had to decide what to include because there are so many stories to be told. One of the hardest decisions was whether to use real names. I decided that names were needed, so the book is a history and not a veiled summary of our lives.

Along with many stories, the book includes dozens of photos. I’ll be adding a few to this page.
